The hail risk remains with the line of storms, as does the tornado risk, but the primary severe weather hazard switches to straight-line winds which could approach 75 MPH in the strongest storms. Sometime between 4 PM and 6 PM, isolated storms will attach to an approaching cold front and the storms will turn into a line of storms. Severe weather comes to a close by 9 PM for nearly everyone.
